ICF Membership Policy
ICF Membership Year
The ICF Membership year begins April 1 and ends March 31 of the following calendar year.
Any person eligible for ICF Membership may submit a completed application, accompanied by payment for the current fiscal year dues. Upon approval of the application by ICF, the applicant shall become an ICF Member.
New members may join ICF at any time.
Please note new ICF Memberships are prorated monthly. New members who join ICF after April 30 will pay prorated membership dues based on the number of months remaining in the ICF Membership year. (For example, new members joining in May will pay for 11 months of ICF Membership, new members joining in June will pay for 10 months of ICF Membership and so forth.)
New members who join ICF in January, February or March will pay prorated membership dues based on the number of months remaining in the current ICF Membership year plus all 12 months of the next ICF Membership year. (For example, new members joining in January will pay for 15 months of ICF Membership, new members joining in February will pay for 14 months of ICF Membership and new members joining in March will pay for 13 months of ICF Membership.)
Please note that no ICF Member who is dropped from ICF’s Membership rolls may rejoin ICF as a new member prior to January 1 of the following calendar year. They may only reinstate their ICF Membership.
ICF Memberships are renewed annually at the full annual membership rate. The renewal period typically opens in early February and closes in June. During this period, any individual whose ICF Membership is scheduled to expire March 31 must submit payment for the new ICF Membership year’s dues at the current annual rate.
Any ICF Member who is delinquent in payment of dues as of March 31 will be extended a grace period of approximately 60 days in which to submit payment. Any individual who has not submitted payment by the end of this grace period shall be dropped from the ICF Membership rolls and therefore forfeit all rights and privileges of ICF Membership.
For individuals with ICF Memberships expiring March 31, 2017, the grace period will end on June 6, 2017.
Any ICF Member who chooses not to renew his or her ICF Membership prior to being dropped from the membership rolls may elect to reinstate their ICF Membership during the latter half of the calendar year.
To reinstate ICF Membership, an individual must submit payment for the full ICF Membership year’s dues at the current annual rate.
For individuals with ICF Memberships expiring March 31, 2017, the reinstatement period will be June 6–December 31, 2017.
No dues shall be refunded to any individual whose ICF Membership is terminated or ends for any reason.
