1. What is ICF Virtual Education?
ICF Virtual Education (VE) is an educational delivery format where ICF coaches globally can come together to network, share and learn. VE sessions are offered in teleforum and/or webinar format. A bridge line number and/or webinar link will be provided with each VE session on the ICF Event Calendar. Please note that bridge line numbers may vary between VE sessions.
2. How can I attend a ICF Virtual Education session?
All ICF members may attend VE sessions at no charge. There is no limit on the number of sessions coaches may attend. No registration is needed for ICF members. Visit the ICF Event Calendar for bridge line and/or webinar details.
Non-ICF members who wish to attend a session should contact ICF Headquarters by e-mail at icfheadquarters@coachfederation.org or by phone at 888.423.3131 or +1.859.219.3580 one (1) business day prior to the session in order to acquire session participation information. Non-ICF members will be charged a fee of $25 USD to attend each VE session. Should a non-member decide to join the ICF in order to attend a VE session, they will receive a one time membership discount of $25 USD. View information on joining the ICF here.
3. Who pays for the telephone costs to join the monthly VE meetings?
ICF hosts the bridge line, and each person joining a session pays for their individual phone cost.
4. Are sessions recorded?
ICF VE sessions are normally recorded. Session recordings are posted to the Archived Calls page within three (3) business days. ICF members may access these recordings, which are currently only offered in a streaming audio format.
5. How can I get a copy of a speaker's presentation?
If a presentation is provided, it will be posted with a program listing on the ICF Event Calendar. Additionally, a copy of the presentation will be saved on the Archived Calls page following the presentation.
6. How Can I get Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs) for VE sessions?
CCEUs for Live Sessions: During the active certificate request period only, you can receive credit by completing the online VE CCEU Request Form. To complete the request form, you will need the two (2) passwords which are given out during each VE session. The active certificate request period ends 3 weeks after each session.
Archived Recordings of Sessions: Recorded sessions are considered self-study for the purpose of renewing an ICF Credential. You may count up to six (6) hours of self-study toward the renewal of your credential. Simply enter the name of the session in the self-study section of the credential application. You do not need to attach a certificate showing completion of a session.
