Research Reviewing Subcommittee Policies
- The ICF Research Reviewing Subcommittee (RRS), a group whose composition is chosen by the leadership of the ICF Research and Education Committee, is not intended to operate as an editorial board. It is nonetheless charged with evaluating the merits of potential research items and/or industry links that have been submitted for possible inclusion on the ICF Research Portal.
- Members of the RRS and the Research Advisor, an individual appointed by the leadership of the ICF Research and Education Committee, shall complete their work in a manner that is consistent both with the ICF Strategic Plan and ICF Policies and Procedures on Coaching Research.
- The RRS and/or the Research Advisor reserve the right to reject any item that has been submitted for possible inclusion on the ICF Research Portal if the item is not in accordance with the ICF Policies and Procedures on Coaching Research or the ICF Code of Ethics.
- The RRS and/or the Research Advisor reserve the right to reject any item that has been submitted for possible inclusion on the ICF Research Portal if it is determined that the item includes marketing/promotional information specifically relating to the following: (1) a coaching training program, (2) a unaffiliated coaching organization, (3) a product/service related to the coaching profession. The RRS and/or the Research Advisor may request that the author re-submit their research item excluding the marketing/promotional information.
