The ICF strongly supports the continuation of education for its members, as well as coaching research to better inform the world about this burgeoning profession.

Each month, professionals have the opportunity to attend numerous seminars and conferences for Continuing Coaching Education Units (CCEUs). These credits can be used by event participants when applying for or renewing an ICF Credential. These educational events take place through chapters and ICF Headquarters.

The research done by the ICF has shed light into various aspects of coaching from the coach's point of view, as well as the client's.
