Post_RhonaRhona Post, MCC - View session.
Rhona Post, an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) since 1999, has traversed the landscape of professional coaching, with certifications and continued study in ontological and somatic coaching and most recently, Core Individuation, the use of energetic healing to guide clients to wholeness. More than 30 years ago, Post began her course of study in personal development with such luminaries as Werner Erhard, John Hanley, James Flaherty and Julio Ollaha. She advanced her national practice by working with diverse groups of leaders, managers and employees, in both the private and public sectors. Most recently, Post created a management coaching program at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, where she introduced somatic bodywork as a way to deepen leaders' awareness and reliance upon their own emotional intelligence and intuition. Scientists and engineers learned to respond with greater ease and mindfulness for the sake of promoting team building, trust and communication. Using the ICF Core Competencies, Post has designed a "healer's model" that strengthens a coach's capacity to create and maintain a centered presence, take risks to get underneath the client's narrative to the "real emotional content" driving the individual while holding the space with compassion. With practice, both the coach and the client experience wholeness-a greater sense of aliveness. The coaching session becomes an opportunity for both coach and client to heal and integrate the fragmented parts of the self: body, mind and spirit.
