Private Events
A private event is defined as an unofficial ICF event or meeting held during ICF's official conference dates at an ICF official venue and/or hotel where ICF Conference attendees are being targeted and/or invited to attend.
Private events held in conjunction with ICF's Annual International Conference must not compete with any official ICF Conference event and/or meeting (see conference schedule of events). Private events may be scheduled on the following days/times: - Saturday, September 24: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday, September 25: After 7:30 p.m.
- Monday, September 26: 6-9 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 27: After 3 p.m.
Individuals wishing to host a private event at an ICF official venue or hotel must receive pre-approval by submitting a completed private event request form and faxing it to +1.859.226.4411 or scanning/sending to icfconference@coachfederation.org prior to August 31, 2011. What you need to know about planning private events:
Violators of the following policies, terms and conditions may be prohibited from attending ICF events and/or future ICF Conferences.
ICF reserves the right to:
- Deny any private event request.
- Postpone or delay any private event, deemed in conflict with an ICF official event and/or meeting.
Policies, Terms and Conditions:
- Private event hosts are responsible for paying all charges associated with holding the event.
- Consideration will be given only to individuals who are paid attendees of the ICF Conference.
- If the private event request is approved, individuals will be put in touch with the hotel and must work directly with the hotel staff on making and paying for all arrangements (room rental, food & beverage, AV, equipment, etc.).
- ICF will not promote private events in conference materials and/or newsletters.
