Annesci Quartet to open Fort Worth Conference
Thursday, October 28:  8:30 - 10:30 AM / 0830-1030
CCEU:  2.00 PD

With a string quartet presented as a metaphor for a working team, the Annesci Quartet offers unprecedented echoes for new ways in management and working with teams. Through a series of concrete and interactive exercises they demonstrate basic and important truths about the functioning of a team. While considering their own experience, the Annesci Quartet evokes some deep thinking based on reciprocity and interactivity. What constitutes a group, a team? Which momentum to choose and dynamism to follow for stimulation? Which method to elect for collaboration and indeed, which energies to select?

Because they draw closer two worlds which are in appearance essentially different, the Annesci Quartet's presentations immediately arouse interest and curiosity. Program participants are immersed in an unforeseen universe and become expansive and receptive to the rich analogies existing between music and management.

The Annesci Quartet studied at the Conservatoire Superior de Musique in Geneva, then in the Amadeus Quartet class at the Musichochschule in Cologne, and finally in the Alain Meunier perfection class at the Conservatoire National Superior de Paris.

The Annesci Quartet has performed and presented its programs to European audiences as well as internationally in China, Japan and the USA. Their curiosity for various art forms leads them to also work with actors, choreographs, painters, etc. Over a four-year period, the Ministry of Culture (France) commissioned the Annesci Quartet for the transmission of chamber music and the Annesci Quartet still maintains frequent pedagogic activities in the form of courses and master classes given throughout the year.

Their capacity to communicate with the general public allows them to tackle the immense chamber music repertoire in many diverse programs with schools, hospitals and in professional surroundings with their business programs.

KJAER's Global 10 Trends for 2020+

1. TOTAL TRANSPARENCY
Openess becomes the new norm, as boundaries between public and private worlds are redrawn. Ethics and caring values are essential measures of a product or company's success and, with nowhere to hide from online exposure, trust goes hand in hand with transparency.

2. CONSCIOUS CONSUMPTION
Personal satisfaction and sustainable living are finely balanced, as individuals take real responsibility for their shopping and consuming habits. Governments and corporations embrace this movement through education, empowerment and open discussion.

3. CLOUD CULTURE
Digital reality broadens horizons as data and apps move to the ‘cloud'. Accessibility and open source enables new collaborations and communities - feeding our desire for instant information, true personal expression and genuine ‘real-time' dialogue with companies.

4. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY
Technology brings empowerment. Controlling our lives in ways that were unimaginable, we love shopping, banking and chatting on the go. The next big leap will be personalised lifestyle content management systems. Real-time web curating will become a full-time job.

5. GLOCALISATION
‘Think global act local' takes on new importance as different business models are explored. Regional heritage and specialities become a valuable commodity and communities are formed based on shared values and lifestyles. Connectivity gives local flavours global reach.

6. STAYING AT HOME
Home becomes the new ultimate destination. Connected to the global village, it is designed for flexibility and entertainment, personal wellbeing and retreat. Tradition and function are crucial - and with sophisticated technology at our fingertips, living gets so much simpler.

7. THE REAL THING
In a homogeneous world, people crave meaning, individuality and emotional connection. Everything a brand says or does reflects its values. Empowerment brands will tell their individual story in fresh ways, inviting us to experience the Real Thing - it's a soul thing.

8. PEOPLE PATCHWORK
An ageing society, lower birthrates and active Baby Boomers who aren't going to retire quietly add up to a huge shift in value sets. Trans-generational living and giving back to the community become more common - and may make us wiser, kinder and greener.

9. HEALTH INTELLIGENCE
With rising concern and increasing information about obesity, stress and other lifestyle diseases, health management and personal wellbeing become even bigger business. Seeking holistic approaches, people take personal responsibility for their wellbeing.

10. HAPPINESS HUNTING
Forget wealth, happiness is the new measure of success. With ‘good karma' hunting viewed as a serious business proposition, governments, companies and individuals look beyond the balance sheet and start to explore how to make this society a happier place.
