Introduction to the Hoye Model TM:  A Magic Bullet for Understanding People
Lance Collie (USA) - View bio.

Saturday, December 5: 11 a.m─12:30 p.m./1100─1230
CCEU:  1.50-CC
Imagine the power of understanding the motivations of others as intuitively as tying your shoes or riding a bike. This is the power of the Hoye Model TM. Every decision we make has an emotional component. In fact, it is the most predictive component of influence and decision making in business, and frankly, life in general. But we dismiss this component as too personal or complex to fully understand. This dismissal leads to less than ideal results. Coaches with the fullest understanding have a competitive advantage to those who don't. From selection interview to final results, the coaches that can authentically and consistently connect with clients at the emotional level will quickly be considered best-in-class.

The Hoye ModelTM, is based on natural law and our innate ability to accurately understand emotional motivations, enabling us to accurately navigate the emotional landscape. Without the barrier of assessment, we shine a light on the natural roles we play, how they relate, and how the elements of these roles appear through our rational view of the world; we are introduced to new ideas in how complete understanding can be when making choices and communicating with others. Truly, application of this powerful knowledge is limited only by the number of personal interactions you have.

Creating powerfully requires the opposite of what you may think! Why? Opposites are at the core of the creation process and are the key to generating sustainable life. Since the law of opposites is a universal law that is always in play but tends to remain unconscious, as coaches, we are often unaware of the dynamic interplay of polarities in our clients' lives. Unwittingly, we miss the rich opportunity that lies in exploring opposites in order to find a successful and generative pathway that is grounded in wholeness. Our failure to see and engage the polarities in our clients' lives restricts the creative flow they've hired us to help them find! Learn to apply the Polarity Coaching Model to get in the zone where circumstances are primed to access the ever present Third Energy that goes beyond the mere blending of differences to a whole other creative dimension. Join us on a content-rich experiential adventure into the land of Wholeness, using Polarity Coaching as your guide, where you will marry the curiosity of the mind with the richness of experiential learning. Leave this adventure with helpful tools you can apply in coaching sessions on the journey ahead.

Strategic Storytelling and StorySelling Skills for Coaches
Doug Stevenson (USA) - View bio.
Thursday, December 3: 2─3:30 p.m./1400─1530
CCEU:  .50-CC/.75-BD/.25-OT
The Story Theater Method for strategic storytelling is innovative and new. When used in presentations, it is an effective method for communicating the coaching process and establishing the coach's credibility. By sharing "success stories," coaches can market and sell themselves, and illustrate the benefits and style of their coaching to new people.

Coaches can also use The Story Theater Method to craft and develop story examples and metaphors to be used during one-on-one coaching with clients. Story Theater is the science of the art of storytelling. Coaches understand the need to use open questions to stimulate exploration, and stories are another tool for achieving that same purpose. The right story, offered at the right time, can open the door to understanding. It can serve as a model for a client to follow. To be effective, however, the story must contain specific elements.

When coaches understand the science behind the art of storytelling, they can craft numerous stories to use in different situations. In this session, I will coach attendees on their stories.

Goals: What short- and long-term goals and tools will attendees take away with them and/or work on in the long term? Be clear, concise and specific in your response.
1. Identify stories for coaching sessions or marketing presentations.
2. Learn how to craft a story that is a strategic tool for connection and communication.
3.  Understand the dynamics of performance and presentation.
