Participate in Local Chapters
The worldwide community of coaches allows members to connect with other coaches and participate in a wide range of programs. Through this invaluable network, the expertise of each coach becomes the resource of all coaches. We are continually adding new chapters to our extensive worldwide network of 40 countries. Join an ICF Special Interest Group (SIG)
ICF Special Interest Groups provide members with the opportunity to discuss specific aspects of coaching. Nearly 30 SIGs meet regularly through teleconferencing, and are open to ICF members at no additional cost. To learn more about SIGs, click here.
Participate in the Virtual Community
Originally designed for members without a local chapter, the Virtual Community has developed into a education and discussion forum for all ICF members. The Virtual Community hosts two teleconferences per month which are open to all ICF members. For more information on the Virtual Community, click here.
Build Leadership Skills
Strongly member-supported, the ICF offers many leadership and volunteer opportunities such as Chapter Host, Board Member, Committee Chairperson and/or Committee Member.
Attend Conferences Worldwide

Apply for an ICF Credential
Complete information about the ICF Credentialing Program including individual credentials and Coach Training Programs. Credentialing information is also available in French, German, and Japanese. Participate in the Coach Referral Service (CRS)
For Credentialed Coaches, one of the added benefits of membership in the ICF is a listing in the Coach Referral Service. List your practice along with hundreds of others, link your listing to your home page, and make the listing available to the referral search engine. Visit the Coach Referral Service.
Gain Continuing Coaching Education
ICF chapters, SIGs, and the Virtual Community are all eligible to apply for Continuing Coaching Education (CCE) credits for the monthly seminars and conferences. These credits can be used by event participants when applying for or renewing an ICF credential. Events at ICF Conferences also offer CCE credit.
