Request a Certificate Now
1. What Are Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Units?
You receive one hour of credit for one hour of actual learning time.
At every Virtual Education meeting, a presentation is made by a guest speaker. The primary purpose of this presentation is to provide learning to coaches attending the meeting. The Virtual Education offers ICF approved CCE units to its members attending this presentation. This CCEU is useful for coaches who are working towards ICF certification or recertification.
2. How Can I Get Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Units?
You can receive credit by clicking on the "Request a Certificate" link above. You will need the two passwords which are given out during each VE program call. The certificates are available for 18 days after each call.
3. Why Would I Need, and When Would I Use Continuing Coach Education Units?
You will need Coach Continuing Education Units to renew your ACC, PCC or MCC Certification. Some CCEUs may also apply to application for initial certification. For more information see the ICF Credentialing page on the ICF website.
ICF Virtual Education CCEU Instructions:
We are pleased to provide CCEUs for our Program Calls. Attending the calls allows you to obtain CCEU hours for your ICF Credential. The Programs award CCEUs in one of the four recognized categories.
- During the call, we’ll tell you the corresponding CCEU category for the call
- At the beginning and end of the speaker's presentation, we will give you two code words
- You will visit the ICF Web site and fill in the CCEU Request Form. You will then be able to download your CCEU certificate.
- Certificates are available for up to 18 days after a call. Simple! Save the certificate until you file for certification/renewal
The categories are:
- Core Competencies
- Personal Development
- Business Development and Marketing
- Other Tools and Skills
By requesting a CCEU, it also gives us an idea of how many coaches joined the call, and helps the ICF to confirm that we’re providing a valuable member service.
