Gary BoylerGary
Executive Director

Gary E. Boyler’s background includes more than 30 years of association, marketing and hospitality experience.

Most recently he was the Director, Brand Management for the Project Management Institute (PMI), responsible for overseeing all marketing, public relations, publications, events, sponsorships and Web site content. PMI has almost 250,000 members in 135 countries, with 232 chapters, 33 Specific Interest Groups and two Colleges.

Previously Gary was the Executive Director of the International Association of Holiday Inns, Inc. (IAHI), Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management for Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Senior Vice President of Advertising & Public Relations for Servico Management Corporation, Chief Operating Officer for the New Jersey Hotel/Motel Association and Executive Director of the New Jersey Restaurant Association.

Over the years, he has received more than 20 Addy Awards from the American Advertising Association including Best of Show, eight Excellence in Association Media awards from Association Trends magazine, five Excel Awards from the Society of National Association Publications, a trio of Gold Circle Awards from the American Society of Association Executives, as well as five Golden Pyramid Awards from the Promotional Products Association International. He was the recipient of the 1998-99 Presidents Award for Outstanding Service to the MPI Southern California Chapter and the Meetings Industry. During the past five years as publisher of PM Network, he has received 13 national/international awards for design, editorial and overall excellence.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Gary has also planned and orchestrated meetings and special events in 48 countries. He was named an Outstanding Young Man of America (OYMA) in 1976.
