The provider of the courses or seminars designed to meet the ICF Recertification Requirements may elect to apply for ICF Approved Provider status and CCEUs prior to offering the course or seminar. ICF credentialed coaches successfully completing Approved Provider courses or seminars will receive credit for the approved number of CCEUs.
To qualify as an ICF Approved Provider and receive ICF approved CCEUs, the applicant provider must:
1. Complete a separate Approved Provider Application for each course or seminar for which the applicant provider wishes to have CCEUs awarded.
2. Submit two (2) copies of the completed Approved Provider Application and a check for the appropriate nonrefundable application fee to the ICF Application Review Committee at least three (3) months prior to the first date the course or seminar is scheduled to occur.
3. Successfully demonstrate compliance with the ICF Continuing Coaching Education Policies and Procedures as interpreted and enforced by the ICF Application Review Committee.
Approved Provider status is determined on a course by course or seminar by seminar basis and is based upon a standard calendar year. Recurring courses that are offered in different calendar years must apply for Approved Provider status each year in which the course is offered.
Previously being granted Approved Provider status does not guarantee that subsequent Approved Provider Applications will be granted Approved Provider status.
The Application Review Committee reserves the right to revoke Approved Provider status at its sole discretion and without prior warning in the event the Approved Provider:
- Violates the ICF Code of Ethics.
- Provides false or misleading information to the Application Review Committee.
- Fails to deliver the educational program and instructor(s) as approved by the Application Review Committee.
The ICF Application Review Committee shall have the sole discretion to make all determinations regarding the awarding of ICF approved CCEUs. All Application Review Committee decisions are final.
