Coaches should pursue Continuing Coach Education (CCE) to further their on-going learning and professional development.
CCE for ICF Credentials:
CCE providers who have been awarded ICF approval offer advanced or niche-specific courses that can be used to fulfill the education and training requirements for:
- Credentialed coaches pursuing the next level of certification
- Credentialed coaches applying to renew a PCC or MCC credential.
The requirements to renew a PCC or MCC credential are documented completion of 40 Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs) in the three years since original certification or the coach's last renewal. A minimum of 24 of the required 40 CCEUs must directly relate to the ICF Core Coaching Competencies.
The following programs have been approved for Continuing Coach Education (CCE). In addition, courses in the curriculum of Accredited Coach Training Programs (ACTPs) and Approved Coach-Specific Training Hours (ACSTHs) are regarded as CCE provided that an applicant has not previously taken the course as part of initial training.
