Abstract

How does Pivot Point coaching help turn an excellent coach into a virtuoso? A strong science based model is the springboard to dive more deeply into the intuitive process at the heart of coaching. This session will illustrate that people often believe they are failing when they are not, simply because their beliefs are too “linear”. Learn to map the true course of change and enhance your client’s resources by accessing seven key areas. The session material is based on 30,000 interviews and multiple theories of change.

Objectives

By attending Pivot Points, the participants will

  • Develop a pragmatic and theory-based overview of the process of change
  • Learn an integrative perspective on helping clients access inner resources
  • Practice specific applications of the material to real-life issues with clients as well as using it to help develop themselves as coaches
  • Be able to map different “courses” of change and facilitate goal setting
  • Find “fractal” micro-behaviors that can form “DNA” like building blocks to change
